Dear friends and mission-partners,

Next Sunday, February 19th, people will be baptized again! Fantastic!
Five weeks ago we started again with a ten week course. It is a bit of a modified version of the “Freedom in Christ” course from “Freedom in Christ Ministries”. The course aims to lay a foundation, so that people get a good start to live in relationship with God. About 20 people participate and we see how God is at work in their lives. Last year we closed the course with 5 participants.
It is also starting to fill up on Sunday services. For example, there were about 35 adults and more than 20 children in the service last Sunday in the building, which is already getting too small. God is touching people.

The spiritual battle is very real. Some think it's because there's so much darkness here, but I think it's actually like that everywhere. In the course we teach very clearly about what the spiritual battle actually is. The fact that this fight is real was confirmed by a woman who said that during a prayer she suddenly saw a figure coming in front of her, who spoke to her angrily: "You must not come here anymore!" Two weeks later, this woman received a touch from God that opened her totally deaf left ear.

Yet another, during a prayer for deliverance, heard a voice say clearly to her: "Go away from here, for the prayer is too strong!"

And yet someone else had been told by the hospital that he had to learn to live with his knee problems… The Lord touched him and now he can walk again without pain! In addition, he and the people around him notice that his aggressiveness is disappearing. He is one of the people to be baptized. He notices a great desire to read the Bible and you can taste that fresh love for Jesus in him.

Another person received prayer and God revealed that fear held her back. She confirmed this and said that she quickly hides, for example, when she can see through the window that someone is walking outside and might see her. The fear controlled her and made it difficult for her to form relationships. Now she notices how God has removed that fear. What a Savior we have. God is love and casts out our fear.

We see in the course and services that God is at work. We believe that He wants to connect people more with each other, because God's love has to flow. More growth is possible when we meetin groups, and that is why we are exploring how we can revive this, because it did not get off the ground well last year. We shall see. Your prayer is much appreciated. The power of our simple prayers is immense, because He who hears us is so immensely great. Will you please pray for us?
